These route alternatives feature different route and mode choices while still optimizing the same objective function (e.g. travel time). We therefore, provide a first presentation of the next generation routing service, which are fundamental for the introduction of Mobility-as-a-Service in the passenger sector or synchromodality in the freight transportation sector.
